ABOUT ITM

HISTORY OF THE INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL MEETINGS (ITM) ON AIR POLLUTION MODELLING AND ITS APPLICATION.

The International Technical Meeting on Air Pollution Modelling and its Applications (ITM) series of conferences were initiated 50 years ago, in 1969, under the auspices of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation’s Committee on Challenges of Modern Society (NATO-CCMS). The ITM series became independent of NATO since 2013. Over its long history, the ITM conference series continues as a broadly independent international meeting of the highest scientifi c stature. The ITM is one of most prominent forums for discussing the latest scientifi c developments and applications related to air pollution modelling at scales ranging from local to global. An important feature of the conference is that it brings together scientists and other stakeholders from the air pollution, climate change, policy, and health communities from across the globe.
